Q. Do you do waste / rubbish removals?
A. No. Sorry we like to keep our vans in pristine condition.
Q. Are your vans insured?
A. Yes we have full Van insurance as well as `Goods in transit insurance`, `public liability insurance` and hire and reward`. This type
of insurance does not come cheap (around £2000-£3000) per van and you will find a lot of man and van type business do not bother,
which is against the law.

A. I think the question should be why do so many man and van companies charge so much.
Q. How much do you charge?
A. 1 man and a van is only £40 per hour from when we arrive.
If an extra man is required then its £60 per hour from when we arrive.
Q. By charging an hourly rate does that mean your drivers will take their time and cost me more money?
A. No. Our driver(s) will load and unload as quickly as possible as they will have other bookings to get to.

Q. Where are you based, and what areas do you cover?
A: We are based in Blackpool and cover all over the fylde coast. Distance is no object, however if it is out of the area then a small
deposit via paypal would be required, also mileage charges may apply for longer distances (10 miles or more).
Q. How much advance notice do you need?
A. Usually 1 or 2 days before is enough, but the earlier you book the better the chance of getting the exact time you require.
Q. Do you have breakdown cover?
A. Yes, we have full AA cover with onward journey protection. This means even in the event of a breakdown the van would be towed
to your destination with the load. Of course, all our vans are regularly serviced and carry spare wheels.
Q. How will I know you are definitely coming?
A. We will confirm your booking the day before by phone, text or email and also 15-30 minutes before arrival.
Q. What if you are late?
A. We try to factor most eventualities into our schedules, such as traffic jams and overunning jobs, but sometimes delays are
inevitable. However we take punctuality very seriously, if it looks like a job is taking longer than expected you will get a call before the
time we were due to arrive with an approx` time. We will not just leave you waiting. This is another reason why you can be sure just
because you are paying by the hour does not mean we will drag the job out.
Q: What about parking?
A: Our removal driver(s) will always try to park legally and close to your property, however ensuring adequate parking is the
responsibility of the customer. As such we recommend that you either obtain permission from your council or reserve space outside
your property. This will help keep loading time to a minimum and avoid any parking fines. If a penalty charge is incurred we request
immediate payment to the driver by the customer. The laws are (loosely) as follows double and single yellows usually allow 20
minutes of loading provided the warden can see it taking place (unless there are curb markings/signs saying otherwise).
Q. Will your driver(s) help with the loading and unloading of the van?
A. Yes unlike other companies that charge more, our driver(s) will help carry and load the van except if you booked 1 man only, then
the driver would stay in the van to load it whilst the customer passes the goods.1 man will not attempt to carry heavy objects such as
washing machines, fridges, freezers etc on his own, but would be more than happy to assist if there is another able bodied person
there to help. If there are heavy items and there is no assistance available then please book an extra man.
Q. Will you take my goods to any floor, and any room?
A. Yes you are paying by the hour so it is completely upto you. Some companies will not help upstairs or if
there is restricted parking etc. Our staff go the extra mile.
Q. Can I travel with the driver, and does it cost more?
A. Up to 2 passengers may travel with the driver, and this does not affect the price in any way.
Q. What about removing doors or windows to fit my sofa through?
A. We always try to help, but cannot promise that this is possilble or advised.

A. If they have exceeded your expectations, then feel free! You are under absolutely no obligation to do so,
and should in no way feel pressured to.
Q. Is there anything else i need to know?
A. Please make sure if you decide to go for 1 man and not 2, that for the vast majority of the work he would have to stay in the van
whilst you pass the goods to him, thus making sure everything is packed correctly. Please remember 1 man will not attempt to carry
